If I feel like crap...I should get up early and actually DO my hair and wear nice attire to school, so then no one will KNOW I feel like crap. {sneaky sneaky}
I get compliments all day on how dashing I look, which puts me in a happier mood.
Which in turn starts to make me feel better. Which reminds me of how awesome I am.
Cause you've all had those days where you wake up, and put on sweatpants, converse, and a hideous t-shirt just to get through work and school.
Then someone you know says:
"Wow...are you sick? You look tired today"
Um, thanks. You suck.
And yes, I know I'm weird. We can just get that out of the way right now.
So what did I do today when I woke up and felt like poop?
Curled my hair, wore a festive hat, and a sparkly tee :)
And you know what?
It freakin' worked.
I walked into my Research Methods class today and one of my guy friends said:
"Hey Bri! You look so BEAUTIFUL today!! So nice to see you!"
Then other compliments ensued from the whole class on how adorable I looked.
Game, Set, Match.
Bri for the win.
Sweater, Jeans: Loft. Top: Target. Hat: Cherry Boutique. Boots: Breckelles. Belt: AE.
So the moral of the story is...take care of yourself. I definitely need to follow that motto more.
But hey, at least I'm trying.
Lemme tell ya, that extra 15 minutes in the morning goes a long way for your self-esteem.
And health.
And awesome levels.
