Oh pooka shell necklaces, or any shell necklaces for that matter! Obviously I liked keeping it classy with a Britney Spears "Baby One More Time" inspired tie top and my shell necklace.
I was intent on collecting every beanie baby possible, and still have my prized Princess Diana doll tucked away in storage waiting for the day it's worth MILLIONS. I was such a smart 10 year old thinking of and planning for my future retirement fund.
I'm not sure that if I was a teenager during the 90's that I'd buy into the Nirvana grunge, doc martens work boots, plaid shirts craze...but who knows. Everyone is dumb at 12-18 years old.
If Lizzie McGuire was on air today, I would race home from my college classes to watch it everyday. Why wouldn't she just date Gus already?! Oh the agony! Until the Lizze McGuire movie that is ;) Also, I miss classic Even Stevens. Seriously some quality television.
Lisa Frank, ladies? Glitter to wear on your face and obnoxiously bright school gear were all the rage! I wish I had originally thought of making the most acid trip looking school gear first so I could be the one makin' bank.
Remember the hair crimping phase? I definitely wore my hair like that with a BANDANA on top. Ya...let's just be thankful we've moved on from crimping to ombre and top knots...which I'm sure our future kids will look at us sideways for :)
