Ok, our anniversary isn't until June...but I like to plan early! We are thinking of taking a San Francisco trip a couple weeks after our anniversary because we will be in the area for a friends wedding. Every year we talk about taking a trip and it never pans out, so I'm determined to make this one happen. It'll be a whole 3 years this June, holy moly this calls for a celebration!

This look is probably my favorite out of all of them because I can just imagine the look as a whole. I would wear my hair up in a curly tendrils with no necklace, but only these amazing drop earrings because they would highlight my smile! Plus I love all the bright happy colors balanced with the insane sexiness of the leather jacket and laced-up heels ;) Can't wait to start planning that anniversary trip now!

Blog Updates

I don't know if you've noticed...but I have a new blog design layout and I couldn't be more excited about it! I emailed Kalee from Fred Rongo to see if she did blog design {because her site is adorable, as is she with her 'lil baby bump!}, and asked if she would mind re-designing my site. She was extremely patient with me while I explained what I wanted in my design and whipped up such a darling layout. She is starting up her blog design business, and with her graphic design education she is a total whiz on the computer! 

Also, in regards to sponsors I've switched from using the Passionfruit site to Adproval. I did this because I still want to primarily do swaps with other bloggers with only a few big paid spots. Being the college student that I am, unfortunately I couldn't justify doing the monthly fee for button swaps. Although, my friend Matthew over at Adproval has been an angel sent from bloggy heaven! Together we're the Hunter family!

Scott and I met in college. It really was a fairy tale love story. 

We got married just 4 months ago. It was the best day ever! 

Now, we are having so much fun being newlyweds!!

I'm studying to become a Speech Language Pathologist (aka speech therapist). 

Scott just graduated in business and started his own company-- he's pretty cool like that.

 I'm crazy addicted to cereal, instagram and shopping.

 He's more of a football, meat and google kind of guy.

Together we're a perfect match!

kara's kustoms iphone case

Let's be real, who doesn't depend on their phone nowadays.
My entire life {to-do lists, schedules, numbers, emails}, are all in this little rectangular box, so I need to protect it!
{Especially since I'm so dang clumsy}

Pros

-practically indestructible for when I throw my phone around

-can set the phone on it's side with ease to watch a video or to take pictures

-sleek design made of aluminum or copper

-comes in multiple colors: red, blue, green and silver
-would be perfect for someone who is not particularly careful with their phone!

Cons

-when your phone heats up, the case does too

-too bulky at the corners to fit into a men's pocket with ease 

-prevents use of the very edges of the touch screen
